Proxy settings are used when your MacOS client is connected to a network that requires a proxy server to access internet such as Private VPN. These can prevent you to access the internet when you are back to school campus. The following instructions will show you how to disable Wi-Fi proxy settings on MacOS computer.
1. Click the "Apple" icon select "System Preference" option, then select "Network".
2. From the left pane select the "Wi-Fi" (or select the network service you wish to disable the proxy settings on), then click the "Advanced" button.
3. Select the "Proxies" tab then uncheck all protocols and click "OK".
